DAVID
MICHEL INTERVIEW
David:
Hello! - Yes yes I know !! Sorry to have taken that much time to
reply but I'm quite overwhelmed at the moment. I have just finished
the beta version with the CD emulation, and actually it's in the
hand of my beta-testers. There was a few problems that kept me busy
all the time
The Fox:
Could you tell us whats happening ??
David: I'm actually
making a list of compatibility, but it's not very easy because I
change the CD emulation every day and each time I'm obliged to re-test
all the CDs and sometimes a CD that worked before doesn't work anymore,
so the list is changing very often... I think I won't have an accurate
list before September.
The Fox:
Could you give us an approximate guess of when the V9 is going to
be released?
David: In September,
but I don't know the exact date yet.
The Fox:
Is there any other new stuff other than the CD and Super CD Emulation?
David: About
the emulation, no nothing new. I have reported the Supergrafx emulation
of one version... Not enough time.
The Fox:
How is the Super CD and Cd Emulation looking so far?
David: It's
not that bad.
The Fox:
What is your favourite PC Engine game ??
David: Oh it's
a difficult question... There's so much good games! One HuCard I
to play often is F1 Circus '92, but usualy I prefer CD games.
The Fox:
What is your target with the Magic Engine Emulator??
David: No special
target, I'd just like to make it as compatible as possible with
the PC Engine.
The Fox:
Any chance of a beta demo David? or any snaps!
David: About
beta demos, no I won't release one. You will have to wait the final
demo of September. For the snapshots I don't know, may be I will
wait a bit more, and perhaps the exclusively will be for the Magic
Engine's homepage... I don't know yet. Bye bye ! PS. Last time I
was on your web page, I saw you mentionned that all the CDs will
work... unfortunatelly it's not true, some won't work.

i removed the FM emulation, but some games will have samples. (Shinobi,
